This policy explains how Vencia collects and processes personal data submitted through the website, in line with the GDPR and applicable Portuguese law.

Controller and contact.

Vencia is the controller for data collected on this website. To exercise rights or ask privacy questions, contact info@vencia.pt.

Data collected.

When you submit a form, we may collect name, company, email, phone, language, preferred contact, approximate invoice volume, approximate overdue value and message. We also process necessary browsing data, such as visited page, date/time and IP address, for security, abuse prevention and form operation.

Purposes and legal bases.

We use data to reply to requests, manage registrations and assess commercial fit, based on consent and pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject. We use necessary browsing data based on our legitimate interest in protecting the site and preventing abuse. Where applicable, we may retain information to comply with legal obligations or defend rights.

Retention.

Requests without a later contractual relationship are retained only as long as needed to reply and manage the initial commercial relationship, up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless a legal obligation, dispute or applicable deletion request requires otherwise. Security records are kept for the strictly necessary period.

Service providers and transfers.

We may use service providers for hosting, email, security, forms and site operations. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards apply, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
